Sleeping Beauty

A poem based off of the film.

Do you think about him when you dream,

when the nights are bright and the stars gleam?

After eating an apple from a lady today,

you start slowly fading away

When you lay your head down to sleep,

you can't wake up it's too deep.

You lay there sleeping,

secretly in somebody's keeping.

No one can save you, no ma'am

it's almost too late.

I only hope your prince comes soon,

you'll be sleeping until night and noon.

He can save you with a true love's kiss,

A chance he might miss.

If your prince saves your life,

surely it's worth the hard strife.

You'll finally get that happily ever after,

and live long and in laughter.
