Similar Adventure

Stop and Stare

Travel the world 🌎

I’ve walked an unfamiliar path, one you’ve probably walked before. This morning I woke to the sound of birds, the sound I’m sure you’ve heard outside your door. I’ve walked and I’ve seen what some have done and saw before, but that doesn’t stop my wandering eye from wanting someone’s similar adventure even more.

The dirt, the concrete, the sun, the moon, nothing can change my thoughts or views. I have a traveler's tale, a soldier's might and a heart full of desire and light. Who is to say my adventure is the same as of him or hers, my eyes, hands, and feet see, feel, and hurt differently from yours.

It is in the sound of the wind, the grass at my feet, a dirt path ahead, and a mountain to defeat that continues my passion upward the hill, for life doesn’t stop and I’m scared of standing still.
