Silence Of Snow

Poem

The night air is heavy and the world is shaded.

There has been anticipation since the sunlight faded.

In your dreams you think of canes of candy and bells of a sleigh.

As you let sleep drift you away.

You will not hear it when it's falling.

But you will understand its calling.

A special place to where your mind can go.

In the silence of snow.

The morning comes and the birds are still chirping.

The hustle and bustle of life has stopped working.

No cars move and no one is speaking.

There is a magic moment that they are keeping.

You won't see it if you're easily distracted.

There is no sound for your ears to be attracted.

And its presence you will know.

With the silence of snow.

Appearing to you as ice-formed feathers.

Angelic miracles seem to fall forever.

Tumbling on the wind and sailing in the sky.

Spiraling in dance and landing with a sigh.

All anger is gone.

All problems move on.

As the love secretly grows.

During the silence of snow.
