Silence Kills

Voice for the Silent

Darkness, depression all around

Tears and blood from the wrist to the ground.

Bullies here, bullies there.

Amused by just a single tear.

Children and teens fight day and night.

Trying to use the rest of their might.

Constantly crying out, begging for help.

Only to be ignored and lead to another welp.

Funny how evil gets their way,

But innocence must find another way.

Cuts, and blood are created every second.

None are heard, but are beckoned.

A life is taken by its own,

With cuts deep right to the bone.

Sad how it all leads to harm.

How words make blood flow from a leg or a arm.

Everyone listens to the bad,

Think it's funny or rad, and ignore the sad.

No one listens to the innocent, saying they're dramatic for exposing their feelings which makes no sense.

Why can we express happy or hatred, but can't support the expression of red.

Why is it bad to express such sadness?

Why laugh over such madness?

No one listens, no one cares.

Why listen to the bad when they don't even care?

Why ignore the sadness and innocence.

They care, it just makes no sense.

No one takes feelings seriously

Saying they're dramatic and need to get over it. They can do that barely.

Do you not understand?

Why follow, why not take a stand...

Funny how when they grab a knife, or take their life.

People start to take a stand.

But sadly it's already the end.

why do things when its too late?

Asking yourself why it had to be such fate.

Like, hello, logic. You kept supporting and spreading the damn hate!

Or you just kept quiet

Thinking it should be kept private

Why listen

When their gravestone newly glistens.
