Silence

I received my silence.

The echoes of that night still haunt me through the walls. The way my weakness made you feel tall. My silent screams and broken dreams are the foundation I'm left with. Wake me up when this nightmare is over because it's something I can't deal with. I'm hurt I'm broken I'm traumatized to ever trust someone again. You took away my only will to survive and you crushed it in front of me. You stole my happiness and destroyed all I had left in me. How can I silence the screams because they are overpowering everything in between. How do I silence my cries when I know I should not be alive. How can I silence the memories of you ripping me apart at the seams. Silence is all I need silence and a peace of mind silence and to leave it all behind. You hurt me you broke me I was in so much pain. But now I'm finally ok I received my silence. I left you behind I received my silence... I received my silence and you received your scattered mind. I received my silence and now you want to die. I received my silence and you are now a prisoner of your own crime. I received my silence...
