Honest Stranger Turned Bluffing Lover

Why do they want me, do you think/Can they sense me loneliness like a siren's song/Seeking refuge when it was a mirage all along/My mind the warrior/My heart betrays/Engulfed in this fog for all my days/Enticing lures/A bitten lip/Sucker never had a chance before he tripped/But it's minor, left unscathed/Pretty soon I'll lose his gaze/The light flickers with sudden darkness/A temporary romance, that's what that is/Lie here wondering why I am this way/Seeking, roaming hungry, like a stray/I wonder if he's searching for me out there/I hope when he finds me, I still care

About the Creator

Jasmine Arroyo

I'm idealistic about life but within my own personal life I am hesitant on love. Writing helps me clean out what thoughts are cluttered where it could have otherwise hindered my happiness.
