She Was Surviving

She wasn't living the life she wanted to live, she was living the life she had to live.

You see that girl?

She looks so happy right?

Smiling, having a great time and yet...

Dying inside

She's broken and tired...

Tired of all the drama, weakness

And trying to make others happy

Because she can't do the same for herself...

So she keeps it all inside

Acts like everything is perfect but cries at night

So everybody thinks she's the happiest person you know

That she has no problems and her life is perfect

If only they knew the truth...

Her heart was heavy

Yet she held her own broken

She found strength within pain

rarely saw her cry

I think her smile hid her tears

She was everything treated like nothing

Left to feel nothing but she survived

She always survived...

When we go through our dark times

And our light times it can get confusing

I want to let you know...

Even in our darkest or brightest of times

Where you can't see where you are going

There will always be someone that cares

Someone who is there to help guide you

And someone there to listen to you...

Don't suffer in silence

Because you're never alone
