She Was Lost from Afar

A Poem

Trapped in a world with no light

Only time that feels right is the

Beautiful night

Only then, is when I can see

While the city sleeps

People like me think

Our souls wander, confused figuring out

Where is light

I see her eaten by wolves

Lusting over her body and not her

Beautiful soul

I take flight at dusk to search for that very soul; wandering

She still sleeps with sheep surrounded by those wolves

Her soul weakened by those who bend her to

their will

If only she can fly and see then she’d be

Safe with me

The leeches use cunning hisses with

Emotionless kisses

I can hear them now

In heat and ready

They plan to defile her soul with beautifully played words

The men she seeks, wear mask of sinners

Encourage her like judas to lay and sleep

She strips down to her temple

Violated by two powerful simple thrust

Vas deferens at full effect

The Wolves finishes and the leeches suck off the rest

She is gone

The next night I find her soul in ash

And give it comfort

Betrayed by her loneness

I hold her soul closely to my heart and give it light

A new purpose

A new body

For her precious rare soul
