She lays in bedHair a mess and music on blast.He texts her something funnyHer heart swells filingWith love, hope, and happiness.

Her sides hurt fromLaughing so much.Her cheeks stingFrom the amount ofStrain her smiles cause;

He makes her happy...And as one single tearFalls from her cheekShe can't help but think...How scared she really is;At that moment.

Not from the noises in the dark,Nore the constant strain of paranoiaShe feels on a daily basis.No shes terrified of screwingUp the one good thing she hasRight in her fucked up life...
