She Feels it Again
Reclaiming Herself

Cold is the room.
Frost along the pane.
Creeping in her heart,
she feels it again.
Fog shrouds the thoughts,
of what has been.
Memories of the past,
she feels it again.
Rain stains the window.
The silent tears begin.
Buried within,
she feels it again.
A lovers hand,
caressing her skin.
Absent for so long,
she feels it again.
Lost soul searching,
reaching to him in vain.
Rejections abound,
she feels it again.
A desire in her heart,
happiness to attain.
Not to be held back,
she feels it again.
Eyes set on a goal.
Faith that breaks the chain.
Nothing will stop her.
She feels it again.
