I hear the lapping of the water against the rocks. The breeze off the lake fills my senses. The winter sun is trying to peak out from behind the clouds. Running my fingers over the pebbles, letting my senses take over.
Everything is still. There is no noise. No distractions. Just right now. The only thing I can think of, is the simple peace of the moment.
The troubles of yesterday, no longer matter. The check-listing sitting on the fridge, it can wait. All that matters is this.
I breathe in, filling my lungs with the air of new promises. Breathing out all the worries that try to invade.
The wind whistling through the trees. Listening to it, letting it paint a picture. Letting it show me what I've been missing.
Taking everything in. The simple peace of this moment is what was needed. Everything is balanced. Everything is perfect.
This. This is serendipity.
