Self Talk

Making wrong decisions after another,

Failure after failure,

She thinks she never learns,

But truthfully,

She does.

Take little steps child,

This will get better;

You’re only young,

Figuring out yourself,

Growing,

Blossoming.

I know sometimes you fall,

Fall deep into the darkness,

Feeling trapped,

Misunderstood,

And alone.

But listen to me,

Listen to yourself..

You are more than what you think you are,

Let yourself go into the light,

Release the pain and into the past,

And

Set yourself for a brighter journey.

I know it won’t be easy,

But

It will be worth it in the long run.
