See the Show!

The Sideshow Moved

A Human Zoo

A menagerie of oddities

collected to display

for curious onlookers

to stare and

gawk

For just one thin dime

you can see it all

SEE THE SHOW!

The sideshow moved

to a new town

Down yesterdays highway

ALL FREE... so step in

and have a look around

The Freaks

They were all there!

Little did they know

It was just another ding show

The mermaid looked seductively

into the sailors eyes. He blushed

wanting to fuck her

or eat her

JoJo the limbless dog boy

rolled in the mud on his belly

he started to defecate his morning meal

much to the delight of the crowd

Faint cries were heard in the night

See the pickled Alien Baby in a jar

What is it? Was it real?

an aborted lost soul from the past

The fat woman, Beatrice

winked at a young shy boy

staring him down like a starving cannibal

He runs to his mother in fear

Clutching her leg for dear life

Mateo the Tattooed Muscled Man

Held two half naked women high upon his shoulders

as his faked cock strained in his skintight shorts

Seeking freedom

These sideshow stars

Who move from show to show

with nowhere else to go

Were left on this earth to wallow in their misery

Trapped within a human zoo

Kept within Barnum's shoebox

Seeking something they can never grasp

Seeking freedom from this never-ending thrall

Behind the sideshow tent

a noise was heard

A tall smiling, dark skinned man

painted white with dusted powder

showed curious preteen girls

his snake. It was long and brown

Spitting angry venom like a monster

Young eyes stare rapt in awe

giggling fearfully of the elongated beast

"It's Alive!" she cried

For a nickel he'd let you touch it

He calls it Big Ben

King of Africa!

It was all just another day at the sideshow
