We all have secrets

Wouldn’t you agree?

A state of being

That those around can’t see.

We all have secrets

That we keep locked away,

Because if some found out,

They probably wouldn’t stay.

But it’s okay to have secrets,

And it’s okay to tell them too.

It shows you who you can trust

And whose trust falls through.

Some tell secrets on purpose

They just want to expose.

Others just let it slip

An accident with a tear dripping down the nose.

So maybe just keep your secrets inside

Where there is no risk.

Where they can hide and play

With all your other secrets that you keep day to day.

Because you know that’s what others do,

So you should do the same,

Shouldn’t you?
