Seasons of My Brain
Where the Weather Weathers My Thoughts

A whirling wind whips through the intertwining trees of thought
The blazing fire is stoked by the whisper of every word
Torrential rain downpours in each space of silence
A delicate snowflake floats down to rest on the meadow of peace
The golden sunshine glows brightly over every love filled smile
Flashing lightening awakens old memories, long since forgotten
A rumbling thunder rolls as every joyous laugh erupts
The prevailing drought comes to an end as fresh wells of emotions renew
Foggy perspectives are cleared up when surrounded by your presence
But that is just the seasoning of my brain
