With Visions of Winter
Smell and feel of summer
Hope of autumn and loss of spring
The threat of tears promise to fall.
But instead of falling, they hold steadfast.
They're strong and are ever changing,
but somehow remain the same.
I look about and it's dreary,
A slate gray to its scenery.
Depending on your view,
It could be depressing or serene.
I hear birds singing promises of tomorrow.
I hear water flowing away sorrows of today.
The wind is whispering in my ear,
You've got this,
Keep going.
Hope springs eternal;
Rain, no more, no less.
