Screw Up

You believe everything to be black and white, only to find it’s really many shades of grey.

I hear his cries as I lay in bed, wondering what choice I should make. Wondering if I should damn him for the mistake I have made before, or to accept the mistake and try to fix it as much as possible.

You try to get help from others but they only suggest throwing him into the fire to never be seen again, though you know that that isn’t what he needs during this time if he truly regrets the mistake made.

His words are sincere and I can feel his emotions to the point I’m crying just as hard as he is. It feels like everyone is against me, but they aren’t. They just don’t realize that I also need someone’s view that isn’t the same as others.
