Scars

You took my happiness away.

you called my scars beautiful, forgetting that you caused them,

it slipped your mind that you engraved my skin,

with permanent reminders of the pain you put me through,

forever carved on my body you one touched,

you once loved,

you are probably now sitting in a brightly lit coffee shop,

surrounded by love and happiness,

while i'm in darkness.

looking at my scar ridden body, wondering why,

you took my happiness away from me

you took my happiness away, so you could have more.

You destroyed me and laughed in my face.

I'll suffer 'til the end, I’ll never forget what you did to me
