Safe Harbor
It's all about how you learn to ride the waves.
Four ships set sail that spring, new and over confident.
The first sank quickly, while its passengers were too busy
convincing everyone around them that everything was fine.
The next ship went down without a fight,
forlorn but resigned to its watery grave.
The third was demolished from the inside-out,
passengers aiming the cannons at themselves and each other.
But the last ship,
the last ship weathered every storm
nimbly navigated through every wave that came at it,
and every foul sea creature or jagged rock in its path.
Against all odds, with the victorious ringing of bells,
the last lone ship sailed off into the sunset,
and made it to their destination without a scratch
