Acid Rain

Acid rain Polluted purgatory.

Paperback memories the world is not the same.

Innocent eyes, circles and scars no visions or dreams.

All is shattered by adulthood lies.

What we have learned has been taught for ages.

Now you can bury your head or you can break the chains.

Too many lies so much deceit, so many children’s cries.

Famine, hunger, always opens, 24 hours living death, getting stronger.

I’ve got a quarter you’ve got a dime enough to buy some cheap wine

Too bad the party’s out of time.

Vanity is scarcely in need so peel away the layers of lies.

It’s our children we need to feed. It’s time we open our eyes

No microwaves, no color TVs

Only the meek can see what needs to be seen

No Christ. No Crucifix.

No mortal God to cleanse your soul.

No Virgin Mary's. No Holy Ghost

No Pagan sacrifice for personal gain.

The human race should bow its head in shame.

Our children have no values. They have no thought.

Instant gratification is all they are taught.

We step on one another, to get to the top.

For a house on a hill with a big lock.

The bodies pile too high, the climb it gets too steep.

The weak fall behind

There is no escaping the neck tie noose

We are Insolvent slaves of the never ending wallet

With no satisfaction in sight.

Fine wine, Caviar gorge yourself you pompous pig

Be quick to point the finger for who’s to blame

You idiot you follow the rules you kiss and tell

You shoot to kill you will lie just to keep your fill

The quiet and the weak will rise to get their thrill

They’ll knock down your doors break your locks

They have no guilt, they feel it’s time the rich

Have this cross to bear.

Cocaine, marijuana, and crank

Heroin, mescaline, and dust,

Done with needles, in lines and pipes to smoke

Pharmaceutical pills that turn you mind to mush

Your children to us is where they will come

To our Ghettos, to our homes

They have the need we've got the supply

Now their happiness depends on their high

You see your money we will have.

Too bad our greed will drag our children down.

But we will fill our need.

You are the blind man’s fool

We are serpent tongues made for survival

We’ll be a friend but never a friend indeed.

We slip through the cracks societies unwanted.

We evade your rules crush your laws

Even an idiot can see they were not made for us.

Rich rules, rich laws, how can they apply to me?

We are your pestilence we are your poor, your angry.

Yes I despise your safe little lives.

I've had no home, no food to eat

While you all sat laughing warm and content.

Such a shame! Such a shame! Such a shame!

You say you understand

That’s something I know you never can.

So stay out of my way.

Stay out of my Face.

That way for now I’ll drag the world around me down.

And you will be

Safe.
