Runaway Girl

She was a runaway girl.

She was a runaway girl, a sweet little thing, with hair tangled in the wind, she made the bluebirds sing.

She was a runaway girl, a lover of the moon, but dreams run out, and we wake up too soon.

She was a runaway girl, loved only by the wild, told to grow up too soon, while still wearing the heart of a child.

She was a runaway girl, never quite like the rest, and they all would tell her how she'll never be the best.

She was a runaway girl, child of the sky, so she would stand up and give life another try.

She was a runaway girl, all on her own, but she fought all her dragons, and won back her throne.

She was a runaway girl, a sweet little thing, but she took up her sword, and made herself king!
