Rolling Thoughts

Mind to Paper

There is Art

Within this heart

River of paint

Flowing through veins

Paintbrush fingertips create

Decorated time and space

Lasts past my age

Immortal in singular place

Slips through critiques embrace

Apple of my eye

Is the fruit of my labor

Multiple sheets of paper

Image of my maker

True art doesn't lie

Pictures for the blind

Broken wings can fly

Past Icarus height

With divine might

Redeemers relieving light

Sinners scorching blight

Forget my name

Not for fame

Words weaponize the lame

Breaking crowns to claim

Soul free to greet

More than eye meets

Self-aware scared

Third eye blinks

Wavelengths flared

Animosity shrinks

Perspective is mirror

Become what you think

Itchy finger smoking gun

Victimized enemy won

Follow the rules

Halt the tongue

Alleviate your dreams

Conformity is done

Wires to veins

Inject social drug

Do it for the likes

Not for the Love

Handprints drip off walls

Forgetting dandelion laws

Sketchers light the way

Chalk outlines the day

Cops and robbers play

Past to present game

Same eyes stained

Who is to blame

Conditioned to pain

Everything stays the same

Too scared of change

Dollar value weight

Cost of our hate

Love to debate

Cast down the lies

Eyes away from sky

Creating biblical demise

Destiny not mine

Mind cleared shroud

Unity is found

Voice makes us loud

Fear revolutionized crowds

The time is now
