Slam there goes the door

the troubles is shut away and the break held in so insecurely

Hoping not to let the tear drop

Shelter Shelter Shelter they all seek

Each going at being the other bird

Let me fly along side you the youth said to one another

Yet they can barely hold their own guns

Oh my pot cracked

The secret’s spilled the shades got darker

and birds flapped their wings and fly in fear

We are cracked they whispered in each other’s heartbeat

but they smiled cos they’re all holding the space for each other.

Us allowing our own light to shine gives other’s the courage to lit there’s

art
