The grass is always greener,
On the side that just has soil.
The sun is always brighter,
In the lands that know no toil.
The soldier is always braver,
When he's killed in action.
The love is more compelling,
When you know it's fatal attraction.
The friend is there for always,
Until you really need them.
The pets are most affectionate,
When they want you to feed them.
The best times can seem mundane,
Until they're in the past.
And tomorrow is always guaranteed,
Until today becomes your last.
God will only love you,
If you abide by his rules.
And your life goals seem pointless,
As soon as you gain the tools.
"Now" is all that matters.
"Now" is all that's true.
"Now" is man's greatest treasure.
