Remorse

I feel none of it.

I felt no remorse

They condemned me and cursed me

But still, I felt nothing

They showed me the silent corpse

The withering creature she had come to be

And yes it was my doing

But still, I felt no remorse

I feel no remorse as my paintbrush of a knife

Creates a fine red line across her neck

How the blood gushes out like a red river of the Nile

The look of horror in her beautiful blue eyes

In them, golden speckles flicker though

I never noticed them before

They truly are magnificent

Yet I feel no remorse

I will feel no remorse

When I snuff out her life.

When I end her decade on this Earth.

I will make it as quick as possible.

I will make it my finest form of Art

Then they will finally start listening

Finally, start watching me.
