Remnants of Her

A Brokenness

Hostility.

I now stare into a face who no longer mulls an attraction towards my soul,

for now, she is repelled from even the slightest draft of my passing.

To remember our past conceptions,

To remember how the pull of opposite worlds were drawn together

- A conspiracy that once was even written amongst the long lost whispers of the universe.

And what remains subsequently is all but too silent for my raging soul.

My obsession to keep her,

My lusting to sustain the gravitational energy that conceived us unto one another,

only seemed to push her further away.

Every exchange, every cold remark,

fragmented the whole entirety of me.

A wounded brokenness arose,

one that could only heal from a continued journey with her.

Desperate to be kindled and awakened,

to feed and live eternally with the universes child and wild soul.

-Her

Yet here I stand lingering and abandoned on the road alone once more.
