Remember This

Remember.

Staring at the mountain within my view

Partly covered with clouds, dusty view

Standing on the last floor and looking down

Ready to jump and shatter my own crown

Remember this, I'm not a wise person or a saint

But all i say this from an experience from a young age

Remember that you can't please everyone

Because love can't win if there is no hate

Remember that good deeds don't make it to the front page

Bad omens takes the seat infront like an evil sage

Remember that you are responsible for your happiness

And that you would always make mistakes, own them

Remember to never lay the blame for your foolishness on another

Own your mistakes, that how the route to being better gets discovered

Remember not to judge everyone based on your past experience

Wish to know how many good things you have lost based on that? Speechless

Remember that what ever you are going through, there is also someone who has been through worse

But they never gave inn to Life's inner core

Remember to always voice out your feelings to whom you love

It could hurt but at least you set a captive bird free

And if the bird loves your tune, it would surely return

Remember that you are always gonna fail

So that you can aim higher and succeed better

Remember in the sunshine to make hay

If not, you are definitely to blame

Remember to reflect on your life, just yours

Because at the end, you came alone to earth and alone shall thee depart.

Finally, oh departing body of mine

Remember that you are unique in your own way

You may not know it, but you really are

One foot away and the leap is taken

Body on the ground, ambulance racing

One, two, soul is leaving

Trapped in another body to start all over again

You would think the lesson is learned

Here I am, making the same mistakes again
