A Poem

Remember:

We remember certain things because details stick out to us, and that's why we remember it. When someone is high, they usually don't remember too much, but that is because everything stands out. Everything is so interesting, we can never focus on one single thing. Memories are made up of what we think we saw, and as time goes on, our minds start to undo a little bit. Faces contort, so that's no longer the Jenny you remember. Places get mixed up in your head: was the game at Anderson or Hayler field? When people start to forget small everyday tasks that they've been doing for twenty years or more, then this theory starts to kick in. Have you ever been able to remember only one trait about someone? Like their eyes, or their hair color, or what they were wearing? That's what you noticed most about said person, and that is why you only remember a certain trait.
