Reincarnation of a Son

Neither male nor female, only being consciously genderless

A single mind and body could never define the depths to my truths

Being influenced by my surroundings and the energies they possess

I become fluid within my sense of self for there is no solidity to my soul

Spiritually growing bigger than this vessel of skin that makes me human

I transform into an immense force of pure yet raw mutable energy

God instilled this essence of life within this occupied casing of flesh

Creating a bio-degradable package to ground my foundation and house my "ghost"

Misunderstood in the expression of my ideas over how I view life and this reality

I'm judged by judgemental imperfections from those who are afraid and shallow

Though I am blessed in the wealth of my connections to a greater unknown

And to the hearts of those who accept the existence of my all without vulgarity

I have yet to come into contact with another lost wanderer who embodies a similar journey to my own

Having been born a light as like everybody I've ever met and will ever come to know

I use my hands to help build a better tomorrow by working diligently today

Knowing that one day this star dust inherited shell to my existence will die

Death being the experience needed to enable the out growth of this skin I use to endlessly roam

My energy transcends; rebirthing this soul like a phoenix cycle within a new host body

Granting the use of these newly formed cells to deepen the depths of my eternal truths

About the Creator

Brent Horling

I'm a free spirit, who is usually lost in free thought. As life goes on and I age closer to my death, I've come to realize that these free thoughts seem to be all I truly have. And that's okay.
