Reflections

The Soul's Fight

I had a dream once when I was wide awake

Playing in the morning mist

Watching all the demons stir to life becoming relentlessly hateful

As they crawl hand and fist

I won't be seen laying down

This battle will not define my soul

For I will never lose my grip

I Am the only goal

No matter what one may try to take

Through cold barren land I will run

Towards my darkest days

Even if blistered by the sun

My head remaining high

Tall with no regrets

my eyes open wide

I Am stronger than the dark and shadows

Whatever they may hide

Fearless of all that is

Forward is my direction

Unmoved I Am nothing but a reflection

Of all that comes towards me

It is here one finds nothing left to take

My heart already free

even with An army made to conquer

All that they can take

It is all a waste I see

For here within the hell they conjure

I know that I can never break
