A Self-Love Poem

Sunflowers in a Field by Daniel Anderson

So I've fallen in love

I think I may have found the one

I mean looking into those beautiful brown eyes

Not only do I see the soil to the soul of a beautiful sunflower.

I see the pain and hurt this human had to endure but makes up for it by having an eye for the arts.

The skin they have, it just...

Glows.

Absorbing the rays of the sun and giving off that golden highlight.

If you stare long enough you'll notice that almost every color to exist are working together to show off the complexion of that skin being sun kissed.

They are the universe wrapped in the skin of a rainbow.

Ya'll... that smile

Can literally make the world stop, because it's not something you'd want to miss. It may hide their pain, but certainly takes mine away.

The brain in that big ass head tho.

Wow... it's just filled with so many answers, and just as many questions. Ever flowing ideas, memories made, adventures taken. The curiosity crazy.

This is the type of person that thinks of a question and immediately researches it, so they know the answer in case someone else asks the same question.

That's useless but interesting

So creative

I mean this is someone who can get inspired by being in a room full of flowers

By going to seaport village and looking out to the water

Describing their everyday life and how difficult it can be, yet makes it sounds to damn empowering

Shit, they even got inspired with their own damn hair.

I call this person a sunflower because they are constantly looking up to the sun.

Soaking up the light, and growing closer and closer.

It's so pure.

You can tell I absolutely adore this person.

Head over heels.

Though some won't believe

That I'm actually talking about me.

Now this isn't me being conceded or vain.

This is me describing the pure admiration I have for myself, that I never did before.

How can one expect to fall in love with someone else

When they don't even have love for themselves.

I look at that reflection and see a creation.

Every creation is authentic and that's what's so artistic.

An artist never produces the same masterpiece twice. Each and every canvas is unique in their own way.

So that flaw that you are so insecure about, is what makes you different.

So you might as well embrace it.

Self Love is the Best Love

Fall in love with the reflection.
