The darkest night has been told,
Is just before the dawn.
A story as time itself is old;
When new love and life are born,
The joy and laughter shared by all.
Warms the heart and the soul.
Days are sunny and the air is clean.
Then comes the day when love dies;
Taking all the ones in love with it.
Flowers wilt, and fowls choke;
Colors radiantly, replaced by rain.
A throbbing begins in your soul,
Surgically removing the heart.
You watch in amazement as
Your entire life be destroyed.
Into the depths of sorrow your mind falls;
There is little hope for you my friend.
The only hope you have is you.
Turn to yourself and be destroyed!
The successful answer lies inside,
And all you seek hides within.
Turn to Him and be admonished!
But if you do this I promise,
The pain you'll feel
With all you've lost,
Will make the death of you
Seem as an April shower.
So if answers you seek.
You will not find any.
Close your eyes and sleep,
And pray to Him 'twas all a dream.
