Two whole years.
Now brought suddenly to attention,
"We can give you solutions."
When chatting with a friend, through a piece of technology,
Sometimes they wonder, "Is the other still breathing?"
So they test their chat partner, like an emergency room victim,
Through a small packet of data, through a small little heartbeat,
That leaks through its arteries,
It dribbles,
It bleeds,
through its valves
that once flowed,
all the passwords you keyed.
Diggings its fangs into each of your veins,
This vampiric creature will suck,
Till it rains,
Each letter,
Or symbol,
or key,
Will show them your emails,
From Hotmail,
Or G.
This bug is dieting on your encryptions,
To access your wall posts and YouTube subscriptions,
Your credit card number and social inscriptions,
Feeding on plants, like that of a similar name,
But so very different,
As these do not grow from any soil in the ground,
But through connections of people,
From countries all around.
From your last joke on Twitter,
To your TumBlog's new glitter,
They could make it all bitter,
It'd be quite a hard hitter,
To lose it all to a transmitter.
We're changing our passwords,
They're swapping their servers,
But we can never be safe,
At least our
Instagrams,
Yahoos
Netflixes
And Amazons,
Might just be protected, that little bit more.
Now go back to doing,
What you enjoy doing,
Whether it be posting, or buying, or tweeting, or searching,
Keep your composure and prevent overexposure,
Of your personal information.
But this can still bring, a troublesome problem,
I just can't seem,
To remember my password.
