Read This When You're Sad
It's okay not to be okay.
Life isn’t always going to be easy.
There’s going to be moments of pain and frustration, grief and loss. It’s inevitable.
Think of every moment as an opportunity, a time of growth and knowledge.
Maybe you failed a midterm
Maybe an Important presentation didn’t go the way you’d hoped
Maybe you even lost someone close to you
Maybe none of it is your fault, and what is going on is not fair.
But you have the power.
You always could take a bad situation and make the best of it.
You’re allowed to be sad, embrace it.
Cry your eyes out, allow yourself to feel.
Allow yourself to understand why you're feeling the way your feeling.
Take notes, read books, talk to friends.
Please never bottle your feelings up. You don’t have to talk to anyone about it, not even your mother, father, sister, brother.
Your feelings belong to you and you only.
Find an outlet, embrace yourself, and repeat.
if there is one thing I’ve learned, you may not be able to have control over situations that happen in your life.
But the way you think about the situations and how you deal with them is all in your power.
Once you grasp this concept, you can change your life.
