Rare Gem

Xian Ling

I stand on a beach, made of pink sands

I bend down to pick such beauty with my hands

As I stand up. I see this figure, a lady

So fair, so white with an incredible smile

She is something my eyes isn't used to

A light so bright with lips like red-rose

In my thoughts, I decide to make a move

And I decided to do exactly what peguins do

I searched the entire beach for a pearl

The search proved futile instead

I saw a gold pearl but not worthy of this lady

But it was the best in this beautiful beach that I could find

I dusted it, cleaned and decided to package it for her

But something remarkable took place instead

I saw things I never took notice of

All this while I thought I was looking to impress her

Looking and searching this pink sand beach for a treasure

But one human-sized treasure was right in front of me

I, thus threw the pearl away into the river

I, thus realized there was nothing I could give her

But then, a promise is a promise, and I hope to hold my end of the bargain

My heart, I pulled out and gave it to her

She is my raregem and she deserved the best

Though what I did was risky, but she is worth it

Did I forget to mention she has a pHD in dancing?

She is everything in one, She is a Xian Ling
