The Next Departure of Your Existence Is in Four Minutes...

I often think about the darkness that lingered in your heart
Was it woven into you at conception?
Deep within, your cells and the marrow of your bones?
Or was it the corrosion of this earth
Like an ocean, beautiful yet erodes the fragile human heart
The careless rush of the crowd
The indifference of your desire
I sit at the station late at night
When the railway is still
And wonder the pain a man can take
So that death and dismemberment is desired.
The sky would fall
and the foundation of earth depart
how could i not perceive the darkness within you?
And how it is a poverty of the English language or perhaps the limit of my vocabulary to accurately articulate the true goodness of your nature and heart
