Pushing and Shoving

By Justine Jackson New Palestine, IN 2005

Pushing and shoving,

Screaming and boom,

Fire and hatred,

Anger and doom,

Hostility and frustration,

Death will arrive soon,

Angry and sad,

With sacrum and doom,

Pushing and shoving,

Five shots too,

10:30 till 2,

Morgue and Hurst will arrive soon,

Chris is gone,

Everyone falls,

Like death is coming,

As soon as noon,

The crime was so senseless,

Chris was defenseless,

He became move less,

Breathless and lifeless. For my cousin that was murdered on Thanksgiving 2004. I love you Chris. Your death was so hard on everyone in our family. I miss you so much. I cant believe you have been gone for 13 years. This time of year makes it even harder because you were our holiday cheermeister. No one could decorate like you and no one has your cheer, period.
