My life it has a purpose
No need for closed curtains
Thats for certain
Fuck the shitty people on this earth it's
Ridiculous
Nothing but a plane of lurking hypocrites
Illegitimate
Non essential vibes dismissing it
Pilgrimage
Not religious
Some may say I'm sacrilegious
The audacity, a gimmick
Apparently, the life they live with
How can one say "this is life"
If they have never lived it
Implemented mockery
Destroying lives purposefully
With urgency
Not nurturing the soul of course
To content with negligence
No sentiment that they import
Cause distortion
Manipulate the mind
So yes, i must divorce it
Stroll this plane with slip resistant
The path is hard like college courses

Ameera looked at the fat paunch and florid face of her boss, a man who lived for the story and the kudos it brought him but who rarely gave consideration to the people behind the drama. When had he become so hard? She reckoned that by the end of the year, he'd be dead, collapsed from a heart attack and she struggled to conjure any sympathy in that moment and instantly felt ashamed at displaying the same lack of compassion that he had.
