Pure

A Poem

Purity.

What is something so simple can be forced away at any moment.

Warning signs in the back of my mind, that I set aside because I thought I was right.

Little did I know there would come a time when I would come to realize otherwise.

Not by choice.

But by the corrupted, the evil, the gone.

I died.

Not once but many times in the course of six months.

The innocence of my well being, gone. Never to return to my eyes, once pure.
