Public, Private Eye

Shy Stance

The crowd goes one way, she takes the other, the long way.

She walks with her head down, afraid of judging.

She give small smiles but doesn’t speak.

As the class conversates, she only sits and listens.

Walking the halls, headphones in, her one motivation song playing.

Cliques, Besties and Teammates at lunch

Where as she sits in the bare corner or high chair away from the crowd.

She listens to music and eats keeping to herself.

As everyone clutters the hall heading to class she speed walks

The first one in class.

She gets home and speaks freely, following her routine.

She keeps her head up, speaking & laughing with her family.

She sings and dances around with no care or shame, her audience, her little black and white furry friend.

Hearing her family talk/joke she joins in.

Walking outside music playing out loud she smiles, the comfort surrounding

Her cat, mom and brothers around

Everywhere in the house, bouncing from room to room.

Listening to music and singing aloud, no one around to judge

Her comfort zone.
