PTSD

An Inside Look

Loud

Ears ringing

Jumpy and muttering

Jittery

Remember; that's all I can do

Shaking

Recalling

It's not right

Please stop I shout

No one's around

The world is crashing in

They don't get it

Stop being crazy

Life isn't so bad

Speak for yourself

I can't stop it

The screaming

A loud noise

That's all it takes

I'm jolted back

There's no air

It's beyond fathomable

May I someday achieve peace

It hurts

I lie awake

Don't want to close my eyes

Malice in every nightmare

Back to the time

It was a place of comforting terror

Help me please

Don't go
