A Poem

What would you have learned if your plan never

Failed?

In order to get back on track certain trains have to be

Derailed.

So what's in store for each and every

Mall rat?

It's been too bumpy of a road just to

Fall flat.

Shoot for the moon in hopes to bring the

Sun out,

Kept alive by an unrelenting drive before it

Spun out.

Gracefully walking in, realizing time has begun to

Run out,

Who knew fighting for your life would turn out to be such a

Fun bout.

Beginning a thorough search for a means to an

End,

Again, who will get a whiff of the dirty laundry once it clings

To the wind?

In this bullet storm the rapid fire has chosen to

Slow up,

Perhaps finding our own "NeverLand" is what will help us all to

Grow up.

Let them eat cake, while carelessness assumes responsibility

Over icing it,

The taste was God-awful, though few sampled the devils pie before

Slicing it.

Expose the belly to its' beast in memoriam of a lean

Gut,

Those who possess the dirtiest hands often appear clean

Cut.

Determining who's sponge worthy based on the knowledge that one

Has soaked up,

It's hard to be a winner in this "Crying Game" if you've never been

Choked up.

Trespassing has left many graveled on the grounds we've

Laid,

The baton was passed yet some messages were never

Relayed.

Cold sweats produced by old debts yet to be

Repaid,

Now is the chance to create highlights worth being

Replayed.

Is there a difference between the gifted and the

Talented?

Or were we simply gifted with being

Talented?
