Prism

...oh how the light bends.

For a moment, I didn't breathe

Your blood...my blood, fevered me

I was trapped

Spellbound + wound

Addicted

Suspended in air, without your care

Unleashed

As you dug into me, I fell into you

My greatest gravedigger

I wasn't dying, but

You played God, I'm more alive

This has never been clearer

I smile at the monsters

That look back at us in the mirror

We are the hot + cold

Forever yes + no

Imprisoned in an impassioned Prism

The light and the dark bends to no end

We can't pretend

We. Just. Are

And however that unfolds, we will never be told

But for a moment, I didn't breathe

Our blood fevered me
