Predator

Wild King

I silently stalk

Within these tall stalks

A deafening roar is my talk

And a proud gait defines my walk

I survive by killing

Each meal provides me healing

A refreshing and satisfying feeling

Joyous successes and harrowing failings

Dominance is my prominent factor

Never share my spoils as I'm a lone victor

My vengeance is unmatched, even by that of a raptor

This jungle I've made my own, I took it with the force of war

Brutal as a gnome, I'm a creator

Creator of fear, I leave my victims trembling to the core

And pleading till they're sore

I'm the lord in this damned world, I'm a predator

About the Creator

Olawale Lawal

Words give me life and there's no other form of perfection that comes close to painting exact and vivid pictures with words.

That's what I try to do each and every time I pen down poetry.
