Life is precious
Every baby born a miracle
Every death a tragedy
Then why do we treat it with carelessness
We spit on its ideas
We attack it with words and violence
We tear each life down that is not our own
Yet life is precious
We tack on labels to each other
And allow ourselves to be labeled
We call each others demeaning things
Like sluts and faggots
B words and dirty whores
F boys, pricks, a player or a pimp
We separate ourselves into groups
Like feminist
Lgbt
White
Black
We are taught what to think
How to feel about those who disagree
Blame those who don’t fall into our groups
Be the first to be offended
Be taught to be victims
And vilify everyone else
Yet we claim all life is precious
We want justice for one side
Yet when it is reversed we sit there and laugh in their face
We forget about fact
And focus on biased studies and statistics
We look only at things to support our opinions
And anyone who tries to play our advocate
We claim they are racist
Sexist
And tell them
they have no clue what it would be like
When we have no idea what they been through
We group all those who don't agree
As them and not us
Life is precious
And death is a tragedy
So why don’t we start acting like it
Let's treat each life as precious
And each life tragic when it’s lost
No matter who the person is
Let's treat them as precious
And any type of death tragic

Young wife, young mother, and a very old mind. I use words as an outlet for the fire inside of my head. I'm super weird and love the art that life makes.
