Power Hungry

Jack of all trades, Master of none.

That’s how I feel today.

Try as I might, I don’t do anything right,

And I feel like flying away.

Now it doesn’t help that they think me a fool,

And an uncouth child at that.

strange strength sneaks its way to my throat

Slithers onto my tongue.

Screaming, they stop and stare in fright

Before starting to strip me of strength.

Then I am weary, worn and done

But I’ll never forget this day

Power surged and I can’t deny

That i’d like to feel it again.

Goodbye strange power you will be missed,

I hope we meet again.

Next time stay a little bit longer.

I think that we’ll be friends.
