Power

The tide of failure has begun to recede

as I step boldly onto the shores of a new Horizon.

I must reflect

on the Me that I once was.

Torn asunder by the talons and hooks of those

who suppose they know who I am to be.

Now the Me I behold today,

A warrior reborn in the fullness of

my Majesty.

I fear neither the flame nor its coals.

For this Power has drawn near the Horizon

of hopes and dreams that eluded me in past nights

and dreaded days.

Behold the element of my rebirth.
