What happened to the man by the ferris wheel?

The one that took all the boys and girls to the Merry Go

The one that played with the boys and girls on the Merry Go

The one that rode until sunset.

Watching the boys and girls prance around the parade doughed up

Watching all the boys and girls dance around freshly baked

Their goodies shined under the light quarter till

What happened when he got hungry?

When he could not run home?

When he could not catch the 22 on Glenside Ave?

What happened to the man by the ferris wheel?

The one who waited hours to catch the last Round.

What happened to the man by the ferris wheel?

The one that played with all the boys and girls on the Merry Go

The one that ran with all the boys and girls at Bowcraft.

The one that made it feel good on the Merry Go.

The one that promised them dreams. Not dreams - wishes.

And gave it to all the boys and girls... All the wishes.

What happened to the man by the ferris wheel?

The one that played with all the boys and girls.

The one that lit with his fiery tool

The one that peeped between the stretch of the Merry Go

At Sins. Running. He saw the boys and girls.

What happened to the man by the ferris wheel?

The one that made all the boys and girls hungry.

As they rode until sunset.
