PorceLynne Doll
"PorceLynn. The Girl that's falling apart. She used to be the prettiest in her box, she was the one called a work of art. But she's shattering, Shattering from smiling for all the world to see."
Every day she smiled for the whole world to see. All she ever wanted to do was to help people be happy. It was her calling.
And so each day she would succeed. But with each smile she was able to share
she began to notice her own began to cease to be there.
Though never would she let anyone see her lack of grinning. It was only when she was alone she would find herself crying. But she could never tell she would never say a thing. She continued to share a piece of herself to any soul in need; each time her power waning. Her porcelain glass skin began to crack and then there was no going back.
If she smiled now she would split right down the middle and it was then that she had never felt so insignificant so little.
From there on she painted on her happy face and tried to fill the cracks in with glue.
It was a lie of course she knew and it did fool some but the thing about telling lies, the only one you can't fool is YOU.
By the time she knew she needed help she had nowhere to go, and was too weak to run. She had given too much of herself away.
She tried to scream for help but time was up, she was done. No body was near and no one could hear.
The painted smile went first and from there she crackled and shattered as her body burst.
***
Nobody realized and nobody knew until they found her shards that were strewn;
That she was the Girl that held others together by giving them pieces of her heart.
Even though she was the one that was falling apart.
