The world we live in now
Isn't the one I was birthed in
Sometimes I sit and think what if this is the end
Got feds on Facebook claiming to be my friends
Just stop, I didn't do anything to be clocked
You don't know a damn thing
If you aren't white privilege
Then it's clear you must've forgot
If it was apparent to you, then you wouldn't question me
These are the same people that made me take sociology
Why haven't we learned that we must unite
How can we make a change
When we turn it into strife
Aren't there enough mothers in poverty
Why isn't that enough?
Yet our kings are are on probation based on sobriety
I see whites facing minimal charges
Yet a black man doing years for Larson
MLK said he had a dream
It's up to us
To show them what he means
